As per a report from esteemed sources like Mark Gurman, the iPhone 15 series is available to pre-order starting September 12 and 13 and will go up for sale about a week later. This year, Apple has been reported to introduce a new dark red color in the line-up.

It’s also rumored that Pro and Pro Max models will get a new lens. Pro and Pro Max models will get A new periscope lens that will let them zoom out 6x optically.

120Hz display

The iPhone 14 Pro was the first time Apple offered a 120Hz display on its top model but it seems like it will limit this feature on the iPhone 15 Pro and the iPhone 15 Plus. This is unfortunate, because Apple’s basic iPhone models lag ahead of their Android rivals in terms of the technology used to display.

The phones that are Pro versions include ProMotion which is a high-resolution 120Hz screen that automatically adjusts its speed of display depending on the task at hand in order to save battery power. This is the same method the majority of other mobile makers are using to improve the battery life of their devices as well, so there’s nothing to stop Apple to not offer it as a standard feature on iPhones.

Based on a tweet sent from Ross Young, an expert on technology for display displays, it’s unlikely that Apple will add 120Hz display to the existing iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus. The expert says BOE which is Apple’s principal suppliers, will not have LTPO screens on hand prior to the release as such, and Apple will likely go with 60Hz screens on the standard iPhone models again this year.

Camera Periscope

Apple is set to establish an all-new standard for smartphone photography thanks to the inclusion of a camera with periscope in the iPhone 15 Pro Max. This innovative technology allows for an optical 5x, or 6x zoom. That’s far more than the 3-x camera on existing iPhones.

The periscope lens uses a prism to fold the lenses and direct it towards the camera. It allows for a wider lens that doesn’t take iphone 15 pro 256gb up excessive internal space. Its results are stunning, with high-quality images that show amazing detail across the entire range of zoom.

Periscope cameras are a common feature on Android phones for some time since, with brands such as Huawei and Samsung selling phones equipped with Periscope technology. However, this is the first time Apple is incorporating the feature in its flagship smartphone.

An experienced analyst and Apple oracle Ming Chi Kuo forecasts that Apple will confine the periscope camera to its high-end Pro as well as Pro Max models this year. This trend will last until 2024. It’s possible that the smaller high-end iPhones aren’t going to get the periscope camera since it would be expensive for Apple to implement the technology. This would be in line with the previous reports that been claiming that Apple will introduce advanced features on its flagship versions.

Audio enhancements

Apple’s desire for an all-screen phone is likely to become reality with the iPhone 15. There are rumors that suggest both the Pro and Max models will eliminate their bezels altogether which will make them look more like phones like the Pixel 3 and Galaxy S10 in terms screen size. A novel technique known as “LIPO” (low-injection pressure over-molding) could make this possible by reducing the width of the phones to 1.5 millimeters.

In iOS 15, Apple is enhancing its audio features to improve your video calls and other apps, such as FaceTime, Google Hangouts, and Instagram. Mic Mode processing focuses on your voice, reduces background noise and amplifies the volume of low-volume music. You can enable this feature by swiping down from the upper right-hand corner of your iPhone’s display.

Another new feature includes Wide Spectrum mode, which increases the quality of audio by recording all the sounds in the room during video calls. This feature is now available through FaceTime and is also coming to other apps like WhatsApp, Zoom, and even your car’s GPS system. It is possible to use it when you launch the Control Center during a video call and pressing the Wide Spectrum button. This feature is a fantastic option to stay in touch with those who are located far. It is also possible to share music during a FaceTime chat and listen to it together.
